Hau'oli Makahiki Hou (Happy New Year)

It's 11:22 here as I write this and we've celebrated the new year in several time zones (Toronto at 7, Winnipeg at 8, Calgary at 9 and finally Vancouver at 10). We also celebrated at 11 although we weren't sure where in the world it was midnight then, but it must've been somewhere. Now the tired countdown begins. The group has whittled down to just Jessi, Lisa (Update: Lisa conked out at 11:40!) and Me. We're determined to make it to midnight but we're freaking tired...

Today was slow and chillaxing. We went to Safeway and had Coldstone Icecream again (It was good). We went to the pool for a bit then went with the cuz's (Jen and Lisa) to Pizza Hut where I did NOT eat any delicious yummy gluten-filled meat-lovers personal pan pizza. I swear... Then we stopped for Shaved Ice on the way back (what will I do back in the T. without the shaved ice???). We made delicious mango daquiris for happy hour and we popped open one of the wedding champagne bottles to toast one of the new years (I think it was Winnipeg) so that Granddad could go home and catch some zZz's.

Speaking of catching some sleep, only thirty minutes left until we can finally go to sleep...
